Server Requirements

Key Features

Categories

A dynamic system where categories can be nested indefinitely. All category management (creation, editing, deletion) is handled in the admin panel.

Detailed Home Page

A placeholder text will highlight the most important features of your marketplace. Additionally, all users can see:

• Top Vendors (Vendors with the most sales)
• Latest Orders (Recently completed orders)
• Rising Vendors (Vendors with the most sales over a specified time frame)

Password Reset

Passwords can be reset using a PGP Key or a Mnemonic key provided during signup, which is shown only once and must be written down for future use.

PGP Key Integration

Each user can link their PGP key, used for features like password reset and two-factor authentication (2FA). Messages between users can also be encrypted with their PGP keys.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Users with a linked PGP key can enable 2FA, which requires a randomly generated message to be signed from their key before logging in.

Wishlist

Buyers can save products for later using the “Add to wishlist” feature.

Vendors

Only approved vendors can post products on the marketplace. Vendors must enable 2FA and link their PGP key to upgrade their status.

Vendor Customization and XP Levels

Vendors can customize their profiles and earn experience points (XP) based on their performance, allowing for dynamic leveling. XP is awarded for actions like product delivery and affected by customer feedback.

Feedback System

Feedback types include Positive, Neutral, and Negative, which affect both vendor and product scores.

Multiple Coins Supported

The marketplace supports multiple cryptocurrencies. The standard version includes Bitcoin and Monero, with the ability to add more coins. Each coin can have multiple marketplace addresses, randomly selected for purchases.

Product Types

Supports both Physical and Digital products. Vendors can offer discounts based on product quantity, and digital products can be automatically delivered to buyers.

Escrow

All purchases use an escrow system to hold funds until the transaction is completed or a dispute is resolved.

Cart Feature

Buyers can add multiple products (even from different sellers) to a cart and checkout all at once.

Messaging

Messages between users are encrypted using advanced public-key cryptography algorithms (e.g., XChaCha20-Poly1305-IETF) to ensure security.

Notifications

Users receive notifications for various actions such as new messages, purchase updates, and feedback. Notifications can be viewed and deleted in the user account panel.

Bitmessage Support

Users can add Bitmessage addresses to receive notifications, even when they are not logged in.

Admin Panel

The admin panel provides full control over the marketplace, including managing categories, users, products, disputes, and support tickets.

Moderator Permissions

Admins can assign specific permissions to moderators, such as resolving disputes or sending mass messages to users.
